I have started playing through What Remains of Edith Finch. Somehow this game escaped me over the years and I’m finally buckling down and giving this one a go. I’ve decided to record my play time and to provide some light commentary as I go. Part one is up on YouTube now, and more parts will follow regularly until I have completed the game. This isn’t a review, but more of a reaction and commentary of what I notice and feel as I go through the experience. In my first 30 minutes or so, I was blown away by the atmosphere of the game. Edith Finch is detailed, full of fantastic audio, and just nails the atmosphere of abandonment.
